Mini Soccer has arrived in Crumlin at the new Crumlin United FC 3G Pitch. The new 3G pitch was opened by Northern Ireland Legend Gerry Armstrong on the 30th of May 2013 and the mini soccer started the same week.
Over 90 children arrived for the first night of mini soccer and many more have registered since. Crumlin United mini soccer runs on Friday nights from 6-7pm for boys and girls aged 5-12 of all abilities. Each week children are split into groups depending on their age and practise football skills in a fun and enjoyable environment.
Colin Roden of Crumlin United mini-soccer said, " The mini soccer has been a huge success in terms of the numbers turning out each week, but more importantly a success in terms of the children enjoying it and coming back each week. Feedback from parents has been really positive and the new 4G pitch is ideal for children to play on each week."
